An Evening With Tom Sito!

(Tom teaching future generations of animators at USC)

On Feb. 16th, I was very pleased to be able to sit down with animator, animation historian and teacher, Tom Sito! Our discussion was extremely interesting and spanned a range of topics including character performance, story, reactions to animation mediums today, and inside stories and discussion to Tom's own work in his animation career. I hope to combine the interviews I assemble through this directed study and the research uncovered, into a document that will encompass these interviews in there entirety, for future animation students to learn from and appreciate.

I have designed PDF file of Tom's interview which I may include in this post a a later date!

My Thanks to Tom Sito for his time and for sharing his knowledge of animation, clever anecdotes, and words of advice! I enjoyed being able to spend an evening with Tom to explore his own working techniques and his insight on the knowledge and works of the great animators of the past!
